New study aims to ease hip replacement pain and reduce opioid use

Summary
This study tests two types of nerve blocks to see which one better controls pain after hip replacement surgery. 90 adults aged 65 and older will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers and help patients recover and walk sooner.
