NCT ID NCT07228663

First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two blood thinners (rivaroxaban and aspirin) can prevent heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots in people who had hip fracture surgery and also suffered a heart injury. About 100 adults aged 45 and older will receive either the drug combo for 90 days or standard blood clot prevention for 30 days. The main goal is to see if a larger study is possible.
