First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two blood thinners (rivaroxaban and aspirin) can prevent heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots after hip fracture surgery in patients who had a heart injury. About 100 adults aged 45 and older will take either the combo for 90 days or standard clot prevention for 30 days. The goal is to see if a larger trial is possible.
