First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether high-intensity interval training (short bursts of hard exercise) is better than moderate continuous training (steady, moderate exercise) for improving nerve, blood vessel, and muscle function in 35 adults with heart failure. Participants had mild to moderate symptoms and reduced heart pumping ability. The goal was to see which exercise type more effectively lowers harmful nerve activity and improves overall function.
