First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether a high-thoracic erector spinae plane block (a type of nerve block) can reduce pain and improve diaphragm function after posterior cervical spine surgery. Fifty adults undergoing this surgery received either the block or standard care. The goal was to see if the block leads to less pain and better breathing after the operation.
