One-Visit crowns put to the test: will they last?
NCT ID NCT04604301
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at how well a new type of strong ceramic crown holds up over five years. The crowns are made using a computer in a single dental visit, so no temporary crown is needed. About 48 adults with a decayed, broken, or failing filling in a back tooth will get the crown. Researchers will check for crown failure, loss of retention, and tooth sensitivity.
