One-Visit crowns: stronger, faster, and no temporary needed?
NCT ID NCT04604301
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests a new high-strength ceramic material for dental crowns that can be made in one appointment using a computer, so you don't need a temporary crown or a second visit. About 48 adults with a decayed, fractured, or failing filling in a back tooth will get the crown and be followed for up to 5 years to see how well it holds up and whether different cements cause tooth sensitivity.
