New eye scanners aim for sharper retina pictures

NCT ID NCT07338461

Summary

This study is testing new high-resolution eye scanners to see if they can take clearer pictures of the back of the eye (retina) than a standard device. It will involve about 97 adults, including people with healthy eyes and those with conditions like age-related macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy. The main goal is to compare the image quality from the new scanners to the current standard machine.
