First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a commercially available high-protein yoghurt drink helps muscles recover after intense exercise. 62 healthy adults aged 18-45 took part. Researchers measured amino acid levels in the blood and markers of muscle damage, soreness, and physical function over 72 hours. The goal was to see if the protein drink improves recovery compared to a placebo.
