New oxygen method may reduce breathing problems during lung cancer scopes

Summary
This study looks at whether using a high-flow nasal cannula (a special oxygen device) during a lung cancer biopsy procedure called EBUS bronchoscopy can prevent breathing problems and procedure pauses. About 198 adults having this procedure will be randomly assigned to receive either standard oxygen or the high-flow device. The goal is to see if the high-flow device leads to fewer interruptions and safer breathing during the procedure.
