High-Dose steroid shot aims to ease agony after lung surgery
NCT ID NCT07213375
Summary
This study is testing if a higher dose of a common steroid (dexamethasone) can better control pain after minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. It focuses on patients who are identified as being highly sensitive to pain before their operation. Researchers will compare pain levels after surgery between patients who receive a high dose and those who receive a standard low dose.
