Stronger flu shot tested for seniors
NCT ID NCT04024228
Summary
This study tested whether a high-dose flu vaccine provides better protection for older adults than the standard-dose vaccine. Over 1,500 healthy volunteers aged 60 and older received either the high-dose or standard shot. Researchers measured the strength of the immune response and monitored safety for six months to see which vaccine worked better.
