First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested a high-dose internal radiation therapy (brachytherapy) in 43 adults with cervical, endometrial, esophageal, prostate, or biliary cancer. The goal was to see if the radiation implants could be placed accurately to deliver the right dose. Participants received the treatment as part of their regular care and were followed for up to a year. The study focused on implant quality and tumor control, not on curing the disease.
