Summary
This study tests whether a high dose of cabergoline given for about 6 months can stop small pituitary tumors (microprolactinomas) from causing high prolactin levels, compared to the usual long-term low-dose approach. The trial involves 70 pre-menopausal women who have not been treated before. The goal is to see if the high dose leads to lasting remission after stopping the drug.
