Could intense workouts slow Parkinson's decline?
NCT ID NCT07163663
Summary
This study tested whether a specific type of high-intensity exercise could help people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers compared a High-Intensity Functional Training (HIFT) program, which uses full-body movements like squats, to standard exercise programs. The goal was to see if HIFT could better improve daily function, balance, walking, and thinking skills in 15 participants with early-stage Parkinson's.
