First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 40 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can reduce pain and improve strength in older adults with knee osteoarthritis. About 64 people aged 60 and older with knee pain will receive the therapy on their knee or both knee and thigh, plus a home exercise program. The goal is to see if this approach provides lasting pain relief and better mobility.
