Summary
This study tests whether a herbal medicine called STW 5-II can reduce gut inflammation and ease symptoms like bloating and stomach pain in adults with functional dyspepsia. About 100 participants will take either STW 5-II or a placebo for 8 weeks, then have a gut tissue sample taken. The goal is to see if the medicine improves both gut health and quality of life.
