Herbal remedy trial offers hope for better sleep after prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT07357324
Summary
This study tests whether adding a traditional Chinese herbal medicine called Lingze tablets to the standard medication tamsulosin helps men sleep better and urinate less at night after prostate surgery. About 136 men who have had prostate surgery and still experience bothersome nighttime urination will take either tamsulosin alone or tamsulosin plus Lingze tablets for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure how many times participants wake up to urinate, their sleep quality, and overall urinary symptoms to see if the combination provides better relief.
