Ancient herbs vs. nighttime bathroom trips: new hope for prostate patients
NCT ID NCT07357324
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese herbal medicine called Lingze tablets to the standard medication tamsulosin can better reduce nighttime urination and improve sleep in men who have had prostate surgery. About 136 men aged 50+ who still wake up at least twice nightly after surgery will take either the standard drug alone or the drug plus herbal tablets for 8 weeks. Researchers will track how many times men wake to urinate, their sleep quality, and overall comfort.
