First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a treatment called HER2 CAR T cells in up to 50 children whose ependymoma brain tumor has come back or not responded to standard care. The cells are made from each child's own blood and trained to recognize and attack the tumor. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and if it can be given at multiple hospitals.
