New drug combo aims to wipe out HER2+ breast tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug QL1706 to standard chemotherapy and targeted therapy works better than the usual approach for early or locally advanced HER2-positive breast cancer. About 188 adults with tumors larger than 2 cm or that have spread to lymph nodes will receive treatment before surgery. The main goal is to see if the new combination leads to no cancer remaining in the breast or lymph nodes at the time of surgery.
