First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study involves 20 adults with chronic hepatitis delta who have been on bulevirtide treatment for at least 48 weeks. Researchers want to find biological markers (biomarkers) that can predict whether the virus will stay under control after stopping the drug. Participants stop bulevirtide and are monitored for 48 weeks to see if the virus returns. The goal is to identify who can safely stop treatment without the infection coming back.
