First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests three different agents (sodium hypochlorite, chlorhexidine, and cold saline) to stop bleeding during a partial pulpotomy, a dental procedure that removes part of the tooth's pulp. Researchers will track pain levels and pulp survival in 75 adults with cavities that reached the pulp but without spontaneous pain. The goal is to find which agent works best to keep the tooth alive and reduce discomfort.
