First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether helping people sleep longer and better can reduce blood pressure. About 110 adults with prehypertension or mild hypertension who sleep 6.5 hours or less per night will take part. Over 8 weeks, one group will get sleep coaching, while the other group receives general health education. The main goal is to see if improving sleep lowers average blood pressure over 48 hours.
