First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether helping people sleep longer (by about 8 weeks) can reduce blood pressure in those with prehypertension or mild hypertension who typically sleep 6.5 hours or less per night. About 110 adults aged 18-65 will either get sleep coaching or general health education. The main goal is to see if better sleep lowers average blood pressure over 48 hours.
