Summary

This study tested a 6-week program called Heart Up! that uses text messages and support from nurses and loved ones to help adults with heart disease become more active and feel less hopeless. About 224 people who had a heart attack or related procedure took part. The goal was to see if this approach could increase daily physical activity and improve outlook.
