Do tiny heart vessel issues predict major problems?

NCT ID NCT07293338

Summary

This study aims to understand if problems with the heart's smallest blood vessels predict worse outcomes for people with dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle is weakened and enlarged. Researchers will observe 330 patients with this condition to see if those with these small vessel issues are more likely to experience serious heart events like hospitalization or death. This is an observational study, meaning it watches and measures patients but does not test a new treatment.
