New heart stent tested on High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT05448625
Summary
This study observed the long-term safety and effectiveness of a new type of drug-coated heart stent in patients with severe coronary artery disease. The stent slowly releases medication to help keep the artery open after a procedure to clear a blockage. Researchers followed 200 high-risk patients to see how well the stent worked and if it caused any complications over time.
