New heart stent tested on most vulnerable patients
NCT ID NCT05448625
Summary
This study observed 200 patients with complex coronary artery disease who received a specific type of drug-coated stent. The goal was to see how safe and effective this stent is over the long term in patients at high risk for heart attacks or other heart-related problems. Researchers tracked whether patients experienced serious heart events, like heart attacks or the need for repeat procedures, after receiving the stent.
