Doctors test how far they can safely stretch a heart stent

NCT ID NCT05340361

Summary

This study is testing how safely a specific drug-coated heart stent (Onyx) can be expanded wider than its normal size. Researchers will enroll 30 adults with coronary artery disease who need a stent placed in a tapered blood vessel. They will use a special high-resolution camera (OCT) inside the artery to check for any damage to the stent after it is expanded.
