Heart stent patients test safer Blood-Thinner options
NCT ID NCT05681702
Summary
This study compares two approaches to reduce bleeding risk in people who have received heart stents. Researchers want to see which medication strategy works better: switching to a milder blood thinner while keeping aspirin, or dropping aspirin while keeping the stronger blood thinner. The goal is to find the safest way to prevent blood clots and heart attacks while minimizing bleeding complications.
