Doctors test which heart scan software works better for Life-Threatening infections
NCT ID NCT06832436
Summary
This study aims to compare two different ultrasound software systems used to measure heart function in patients with septic shock, a life-threatening infection. Researchers will analyze existing heart scan data from 60 critically ill patients to see if the two software programs give similar results and how consistent measurements are between different operators. The goal is to help standardize heart measurements in intensive care, which could improve how doctors monitor and understand heart health during severe infections.
