First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at why people on dialysis for kidney failure often have dangerous heart rhythm problems. Researchers are using a small implantable device to track heartbeats over time, along with heart scans, to see how dialysis treatments may injure the heart. The goal is to better understand these injuries and improve future care. The study involves 18 adults who have been on dialysis for at least 3 months.
