First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study will collect data from 5,000 adults with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle is abnormally thick. Researchers will use cardiac MRI scans to look for scarring in the heart muscle and see if it helps predict who is at higher risk of death. The goal is to create a better scoring system to guide treatment decisions.
