Genetic clues may explain why exercise helps some heart patients more than others

NCT ID NCT07164911

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at why some people with heart failure get more benefit from exercise rehab than others. Researchers will measure oxygen use and tiny genetic molecules (microRNAs) in 62 patients before and after a rehab program. The goal is to find markers that predict who will improve most, so future exercise plans can be personalized.
