New home monitor aims to cut heart failure hospital stays

Summary
This study tests a device that automatically tracks leg swelling in people with heart failure. The goal is to catch worsening symptoms early and reduce hospital visits. About 1,500 adults with chronic heart failure and a history of leg swelling will use the device at home for at least a year.
