Summary

This study tests three different medicines (empagliflozin, acetazolamide, and metolazone) added to standard diuretics in 66 adults hospitalized with acute heart failure and fluid overload. The goal is to see which combination helps the body get rid of extra fluid most effectively over three days. Participants must be over 18 and have signs of fluid buildup like swelling or fluid in the lungs.
