Heart and mind connection: how depression and memory affect heart failure recovery

NCT ID NCT07284446

Summary

This study aims to understand how common depression and memory problems are in people hospitalized for chronic heart failure, and whether these conditions lead to worse health outcomes. Researchers will survey 300 hospitalized patients about their mood and thinking skills, then track their health for a year after discharge. The goal is to gather evidence that could lead to better mental health screening and support for heart failure patients.
