Could a common diabetes pill ease a troubled heart?

NCT ID NCT06433050

Summary

This early study is testing if a medication called sotagliflozin, currently used for diabetes, can help adults with a specific heart condition where the heart muscle is thickened but not blocked. Researchers want to see if the drug is safe and if it can improve patients' ability to exercise and reduce their symptoms. About 26 participants will take either the drug or a placebo for 12-week periods, switching treatments halfway through.
