Could a common pill ease a stiff, thickened heart?
NCT ID NCT06433050
Summary
This early study is testing if a drug called sotagliflozin, already used for diabetes and heart failure, can help adults with a specific type of heart muscle disease where the heart is thickened but not blocked. About 26 participants will take the drug or a placebo for 12-week periods to see if it improves their ability to exercise, reduces symptoms, and is safe for them.
