New study tracks hidden heart risks in diabetes patients

Summary
This study follows 1,000 adults with type 2 diabetes who have already had a heart CT scan. Researchers will repeat the scan to see how fatty plaque in the heart arteries changes over time. The goal is to better understand who is at highest risk for heart attacks and other problems, without testing any new treatment.
