New program aims to help heart attack survivors hit crucial cholesterol targets
NCT ID NCT07178444
Summary
This study is testing whether a team-based support program helps people who have had a heart attack lower their 'bad' cholesterol more effectively than standard care alone. The program provides extra consultations with nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists over a year. Researchers will enroll 230 heart attack survivors in France to see if this approach helps more people reach safe cholesterol levels and improve other heart health factors.
