New catheter aims to pinpoint dangerous heart rhythms

NCT ID NCT07116525

Summary

This study is testing a new, paddle-shaped catheter designed to create detailed maps of irregular heartbeats. Doctors will use it on 60 patients with conditions like atrial fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia to see if it's safe and works well. The goal is to see if this tool can accurately locate the source of the arrhythmia before a treatment procedure.
