NCT ID NCT03100227
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study collected brain PET scans from 41 healthy adults aged 20-65 to create a reference database. Doctors can compare these normal scans to those of epilepsy patients to more precisely locate where seizures start, helping guide surgery when medications fail. The goal is to improve the accuracy of surgical planning for people with hard-to-treat epilepsy.
