Summary
This study created a database of normal brain scans from 41 healthy adults to help doctors better interpret brain scans of epilepsy patients. Researchers collected PET scans showing normal brain activity patterns to serve as a comparison reference. This database helps identify abnormal brain areas in epilepsy patients who may need surgery when medications fail.
