Summary
This pilot study tested a 6-month program of healthy eating and physical activity to help people with early Type 2 diabetes achieve remission. 35 adults with diabetes and overweight participated, with some receiving the program and others standard care. The goal was to see if the program could lead to weight loss and lower blood sugar without medication.
