Could a simple head tilt boost stroke recovery?
NCT ID NCT06313710
Summary
This study tested whether having patients lie with their head lowered after successful removal of a major brain clot helps improve recovery from a stroke. It involved 90 adults who had a severe stroke caused by a large blocked artery. Researchers randomly assigned patients to either the head-down position or standard care to compare their neurological function and recovery outcomes.
