Could lying Head-Down boost stroke recovery?

NCT ID NCT06313710

Summary

This study tested whether having patients lie with their head lowered after a successful procedure to remove a stroke-causing blood clot could improve recovery. It involved 90 people who had a major stroke and whose clot was successfully removed. Researchers compared standard care to the head-down position to see which led to better recovery of brain function and fewer disabilities.
