New approach aims to help cancer patients complete tough treatment

Summary

This study tests whether starting nutrition and pain management early helps people with head and neck cancer complete their full course of radiation and chemotherapy. Researchers will work with 138 patients who have recently had surgery for this cancer. The goal is to see if better support during treatment helps patients maintain their weight and finish their planned therapy.
