First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving hepatitis B antibodies (HBIG) could clear the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in people with chronic hepatitis B. It included 13 adults who had been on antiviral therapy for at least a year. The treatment was given for 12 weeks, but the study was stopped early, so results are limited.
